Abortion is the murder of the unborn plain and simple! Sadly, New South Wales National party MP Trevor Khan is in step with Labor Party MP P G Sharpe in sponsoring the following bill.
“Public Health Amendment (Safe Access to Reproductive Health Clinics) Bill 2018 b2017-081.d10
This explanatory note relates to this Bill as introduced into Parliament.
This Bill is co-sponsored by the Hon P G Sharpe MLC and the Hon T J Khan MLC.
Overview of Bill
The object of this Bill is to provide for safe access zones around reproductive health clinics at which abortions are provided so as to protect the safety and well-being of, and respect the privacy and dignity of, those accessing the services provided at those premises as well as those who need to access those premises in the course of their employment.
Outline of provisions
Clause 1 sets out the name (also called the short title) of the proposed Act.
Clause 2 provides for the commencement of the proposed Act on the date of assent to the
Schedule 1 Amendment of Public Health Act 2010 No 127
Schedule 1 inserts the following provisions into the Public Health Act 2010:
(a) Proposed section 98A inserts definitions used in the proposed Part. The term safe access zone is defined to mean the premises of a reproductive health clinic at which abortions are provided and the area within 150 metres of any part of the premises of a reproductive health clinic at which abortions are provided or of a pedestrian access point to a building that houses a reproductive health clinic at which abortions are provided.
(b) Proposed section 98B specifies the objects of the proposed Part.
(c) Proposed section 98C makes it an offence for a person who is in a safe access zone to:
(i) interfere with any person accessing, leaving, or attempting to access or leave, any
reproductive health clinic at which abortions are provided, or (ii) obstruct or block a footpath or road leading to any reproductive health clinic at which
abortions are provided.
In each case, the maximum penalty for the first offence is 50 penalty units (currently
$5,550) or imprisonment for 6 months, or both, and the maximum penalty for any second or subsequent offence is 100 penalty units (currently $11,000) or imprisonment for 12 months, or both.
(d) Proposed section 98D makes it an offence for a person who is in a safe access zone to
communicate in relation to abortions in a manner that is able to be seen or heard by a person accessing, leaving, attempting to access or leave, or inside, a reproductive health clinic at which abortions are provided and that is reasonably likely to cause distress or anxiety to any such person. The maximum penalty for the first offence is 50 penalty units or imprisonment for 6 months, or both, and the maximum penalty for any second or subsequent offence is 100 penalty units or imprisonment for 12 months, or both.
(e) Proposed section 98E makes it an offence for a person to:
(i) intentionally capture visual data of another person, without that other person’s
consent, if that other person is in a safe access zone, or
(ii) publish or distribute a recording of another person without that other person’s
consent if the recording was made while that other person was in a safe access zone
and contains particulars likely to lead to the identification of that other person.
The maximum penalty for the first offence is 50 penalty units or imprisonment for
6 months, or both, and the maximum penalty for any second or subsequent offence is
100 penalty units or imprisonment for 12 months, or both.
(f) Proposed section 98F provides that the proposed Part does not apply so as to prohibit
conduct occurring in or around a church or other building ordinarily used for religious
worship or outside Parliament House in Macquarie Street, Sydney or to prohibit the
carrying out of any survey or opinion poll by or with the authority of a candidate, or the
distribution of any handbill or leaflet by or with the authority of a candidate, during the
course of a Commonwealth, State or local government election, referendum or plebiscite.
The provision also provides that the proposed Part applies despite anything to the contrary in other statutory provisions about public assemblies or protests.” https://www.parliament.nsw.gov.au/bill/files/3508/XN%20Public%20Health%20Amendment%20(Safe%20Access%20to%20Reproductive%20Health%20Clinics)%20Bill%202018.pdf
I wrote my local National Pary MP and here is his sad and shoddy response.
“This bill is a cross member bill, not a government bill and in recognition of the nature of this issue, government members will be free to exercise a conscience vote when it comes before the Legislative Assembly.
It is also important to consider the legal right individuals have in this state, and that is the right to free movement without fear of intimidation or harassment.”
Guess who will not get this vote next election! These politicians know that no one worth their salt would physically hinder or harm someone intent on killing their baby but rather seek to give counsel or pray with or for those going into these chambers of horror if given the opportunity.
It is disturbing to know that a member of the once conservative National Party is co-sponsoring such a bill. The National Party says on its own website:
“We believe in freedom of speech, movement and philosophy; freedom of religious activity, association and assembly; and equality and justice for all before the law.
We believe the family is the basis of a strong and stable society.” https://www.nswnationals.org.au/constitution/
Hypocrisy to say the least!
The world has been going mad since the day Adam and Eve disobeyed the Creator. That disobedience ultimately leads to physical death but until death, there are physical and mental issues to deal with.
For example, six thousand years later the world is confronted with ‘GO RAINBOW’ day! What in the world is GO RAINBOW day? Go Rainbow day is an ‘event celebrating International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersexism and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT)’ and occurs on May 17th. Why May 17th? That is ‘the day in 1990 when the World Health Organisation removed the classification of homosexuality as a mental disorder.’ https://www.dailyliberal.com.au/story/5406885/community-heeds-go-rainbow-message-at-idahobit-afternoon-tea/?cs=112
Those who believe the WHO was correct in this are an example of the result of that first transgression to the Creator’s command in Genesis 2:16 and 17. For in the very beginning God had made ‘them male and female’ and told them to ‘Be fruitful, and multiply’. This command is certainly not possible with same-sex sex!
This same-sex issue and all the other sexual deviancy that goes with it is simply a continuation of that event that occurred around 3874BC (date according to James Ussher’s Annals of the World). It is simply a disregard for and disobedience to the God of Creation.
That one act by Adam and Eve has brought society to what Paul spoke of in Romans 1:26-31 that ‘For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful‘.
Now, be honest, you must see some resemblance of today’s society in that list? However, the God of Creation never left humankind without hope and here it is; Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Allowing the government to educate your child is like walking the child through a zoo with no fence between you and the animals. Now, ‘A CONTROVERSIAL curriculum resource, banned in NSW, that teaches teens they can identify as “genderqueer” or “two-spirit” is being used in Queensland classrooms.
The “Genderbread Person” teaching tool – a cartoon figure with a rainbow brain that teaches students about the “infinite” possibilities of their gender – is being used at Mitchelton State High School.
The resource – available at it’spronouncedmetrosexual.com – tells teenagers their gender is not binary.
“It’s not either/or. In many cases, it’s both/and. A bit of this, a dash of that,” it says, alongside graphs on which students can plot where they sit on a spectrum of gender options.
The Courier-Mail understands the teaching resource has upset a number of parents at the school whose children complained they were confused by the gender studies lesson.
The Genderbread Person was used in NSW as part of the state’s Crossroads program but was scrapped last year.
A Queensland Education Department spokesman said the Government did not know how many schools were using the resource because it did not keep data on specific gender diversity programs.
This morning a departmental spokesperson said there would be no move to stop the school using the resource, saying parents were given the choice to opt their children out.
“Mitchelton State High School uses the Genderbread Person resource as one small component of Resilient Individuals who Strive for Excellence (RISE), a program that focuses on student wellbeing, including social and emotional learning,” the spokesperson said in a statement.
“Programs like this assist schools in cultivating a supportive and inclusive culture for students.”
But Opposition Leader Deb Frecklington said the Government needed to “show the Genderbread Person the door”, adding: “If kids aren’t confused about their sexuality before being taught this program, they will be afterwards.”’ http://www.couriermail.com.au/news/queensland/brisbane-state-high-school-using-banned-gender-tool/news-story/8d948d26deeb043194d6c9c5755437ed
Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Multi-culturalism, racism, Islam and the whacky West. ‘”If you thought it was challenging for women to come forward and accuse Harvey Weinstein of rape, consider accusing the Islamic theologian Tariq Ramadan”, wrote Sylvie Kauffman, the former editor of Le Monde.
Tariq Ramadan, the grandson of the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, Hassan al-Bana, is a Swiss lecturer on Islam with millions of followers and one of Time Magazine‘s “men of the year“. Accused of rape by three women, however, Ramadan is now in custody of the French police. In denying the allegations of sexual violence, his #MeToo case has turned into a political and religious affair.
The Algerian writer Kamel Daoud summarized the response of the Arab-Islamic world to the Ramadan affair: “Silence, discomfort, embarrassment and theories of mass conspiracy”.
The Muslim communities likely know what is at stake in the case of Ramadan, which the Muslim sociologist Omero Marongiu-Perria has called a “crumbling myth“. But if the Muslims’ silence and defense of Tariq Ramadan is something regrettable, Western silence is worse.
Ramadan’s ethnic and religious identity — as is becoming increasingly common (for instance, here, here and here) — has been evoked as part of his defense. After the first sexual accusations came out against Ramadan, Professor Eugene Rogan, Director of Oxford’s Middle East Centre, where Ramadan also teaches, defended his colleague. Ramadan, Rogan said, is a “prominent Muslim“.
According to the French philosopher Pascal Bruckner, “the blindness of the Anglo-Saxons on political Islam is frightening. In the United States, as in the UK, attacking Tariq Ramadan earn you a charge of racism”.
130 personalities, including the economist Thomas Piketty and the French feminist Caroline De Haas, have defined the case against Ramadan as “a political campaign that, far from defending the cause of women, imposes on our country a destructive agenda of hatred and fear”.
Thousands of people in Europe and millions in the Arab world are simply not willing to accept that Tariq Ramadan can be judged and found guilty by a system of democratic, Western and secular justice. That is the question at stake: will we witness the triumph of extremists over powerless Muslim women who will most likely never again have the courage to denounce their Muslim aggressors? This desire to perpetuate inequality seems why enormous amounts of money are being collected to defend Mr. Ramadan.
The imprisonment of such a legend — the grandson of the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood — has caused a stir in the French and Swiss Muslim communities and mobilized a powerful propaganda machine. First the “Free Tariq Ramadan” website was created. Then 137,000 people signed an appeal to free him. Nadia Karmous, head of the Association of Muslim Women in Switzerland, supported the theologian as “a reliable and caring person”. At a recent “Annual Meeting of Muslims of France” in Bourget, a “support committee” for Ramadan was launched. His books were sold, and people collected funds and signed letters to French President Emmanuel Macron and the Minister of Justice, Nicole Belloubet, asking for the release of their idol.
The goal seems to be to turn Ramadan into a martyr. According to Asmar Lafar, the president of the “Muslims of France” organization, Ramadan’s pensée(“thinking/worldview”) is still “intact” despite the accusations. People holding placards saying “Free Tariq Ramadan” rallied in Paris.
Meanwhile, the three women who accused Ramadan of rape have been the subjects of intimidation, violence and threats.
Their daily hell has been exposed by the French weekly Marianne. “You only get what you deserve” is one of the many messages “Marie” (one of the two women who uses a pseudonym) receives every day. Except that message came from one of Ramadan’s brothers.
“I go out less and less”, she said. A few days ago, she was attacked on the street. “Dirty bitch”, four young men shouted at her.
One day, while “Marie” was bringing her son to school, a car stopped and the driver shouted, “Shut up; watch out for your children”. On March 24, she was violently assaulted in the hall of her home by two men who beat her up, sprayed water on her and said: “Next time it will be gasoline”.
“Christelle”, the second woman using a pseudonym, receives emails from strangers containing “very specific information about her private life and schedule”.
Henda Ayari, who filed the first complaint against Ramadan on October 20, 2017, no longer receives any support: “My family does not speak to me any more”. Her name, phone numbers and addresses were disclosed on social media. Her care was vandalized. “I cannot go shopping anymore,” Ayari said, “I cannot walk down the street, I go out with a cap, sunglasses and my head down… “I have not received any message [of support] from feminist organizations” she told Marianne.
All the testimonies are similar: “Phone calls in the middle of the night, people who are breathing or laughing at the other end of the phone”.
Very few talk about this #MeToo of multiculturalism, or about those who blame Ramadan’s alleged victims. According to The New Yorker:
“Ayari, who has received death threats, is a former Salafist who broke with Islam and has became a devout feminist and secularist à la française. She is something of a heroine in the extreme-right circles of the fachosphère, where Islamophobia is a ticket of admission”.
So according to this, the “real” problem is “Islamophobia”, not the Muslim subjugation of women.
Tariq Ramadan is extremely lucky. If he is judged according to Islamic law, he will almost certainly be found innocent. In Islam, the testimony of a female in court is worth half that of a man (Quran 2:282). If Ramadan is found guilty, he should thank France for having a secular democratic justice system. Otherwise, under Sharia, he would be stoned to death for adultery, as done in Somalia. Not so bad for an “Islamophobic” country such as France. Ramadan’s alleged victims are less lucky. Either way, they will have to continue to live in a society that treats them not as victims but as enemies.’ https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/12171/tariq-ramadan-rape-trial
